Presentation and Slide Design (ENG2003)

Description of the work

This presentation was completed as part of ENG2003: Effective Engineering Communication . The assignment required creating a set of presentation slides and delivering information in a clear and structured format to an audience. The goal was to communicate technical ideas effectively while maintaining a professional and organised presentation style.

Why I Selected This Piece

I selected this piece because it reflects my improvement in both slide design and oral communication. Presentation =s are an important skill for engineers, as they are often required to present technical ideas, research findings, and project updates to different audiences. This assignment allowed me to practice organising information in a clear and visually engaging way.

Development as a Communicator

This presentation demonstrates how my communication skills improved throughout the course. Before taking ENG2003, my presentations often contained too much text and lacked clear organisation. Through this assignment, I learned how to design slides that highlights key points rather than overwhelming the audience with information. I also became more aware of how visual structure, headings and concise wording can make a presentation easies to follow.

Comfort and Personal Growth

This assignment pushed me slightly outside my comfort zone because presenting information in front of audience requires confidence and communication. It helped me become more comfortable explaining ideas verbally and maintaining a logical flow during a presentation
